Shout-Out for Suzerain! (Savage Worlds)
Okay, and now for something rather different!
As you know, I don’t do shout-outs, unless I really believe in something and it has a given track-record. I was not compensated in any way, shape or form for this, and I only do this, because I believe in the content.
So, here goes:
You can get a free adventure for Suzerain by subscribing to their newsletter, and they have a kickstarter coming up soon – which the newsletter will notify you of.
But why would you want to check out Suzerain, and what is it?
Essentially, Suzerain is a kind of meta-setting that can be likened in focus to something somewhat akin to Amber, within which a whole cosmology of different settings lie: From Shanghai Vampocalypse, to quasi-Greek settings, steampunk worlds, etc., Suzerain holds a place for many, many playstyles, and for switching between them. Suzerain primarily uses the Savage Worlds engine, and while I’m not a huge fan of the rules, I still REALLY enjoy the meta-setting of Suzerain – particularly since the meta-setting’s ambition of a shared universe driven by actual players makes it feel alive.
Any way, if you haven’t already, I encourage you to check out Suzerain at least once; there are some seriously cool ideas to find here, regardless of your preferred system.

Thank you for your attention.
Endzeitgeist out.
