Dear patreons, dear readers!

July has came and went with scathing heat and yours truly being busy as always. The month has been one of ups and downs for me and I have not met the goal I set for myself to get the Thunderscape Campaign Setting review finally done, though it is very close to being finished. The reason for this is simple – I can’t combine its playtesting with other settings due to the amount of special rules/assumptions and as such, this beast takes up time galore -as have two other, long-expected reviews that will hit site next week.

On a personal level, the month has had ups and downs, with me organizing my grandfather’s birthday celebrations as a resounding, albeit work-intense, success. A downer would be a divorce in my family which I’m mediating as another drain on my time. This notwithstanding, I believe I have brought you all quite a bunch of reviews – and yes, I am slowly but surely catching up with Legendary Games’ and AAW Games’ output. 🙂 I’m also very happy to report that you’ll see several exceedingly work-intense reviews next week, so stay tuned for them.

I am currently waiting for Lords of the Night by Dreamscarred Press to hit its final, updated form so I can finish my playtests for it. AAW Games’ Fallen Leaves adventure arc is currently being played, so that one you’ll see soonish. Kobold Press’ larger than Life and both Quests of Doom and Sword of Air are nearing completion among the books on my reading pile. With so many “big” reviews on the verge of completion, I’m also happy to announce that I’ll be covering more books by publishers I have neglected a bit so far in August. Which ones? Well, you’ll see.

I have also just finished a draft of a book that will go straight on my Essential-list, so please look forward to that one! Savage Mojo’s Machine of the Lich Queen is still awaiting its update before I post it.

As for other systems: I have several 13th Age reviews done and some old-school and DCC goodies as well.

Among the prioritized reviews for August, so far, I have one request, which I have been working on for some time, namely Flying Pincushion Games’ Into the Breach: Alchemists. If you are eligible for a prioritized review, please tell me as soon as possible. The same holds true for any other requests and suggestions you may have – tell em what you want me to cover and I’ll get to it!
