Patreon Update 09/17
Dear patreons, dear readers!
It has been a challenging month, but I am pretty happy with the amount of books I managed to finish!
In case you were wondering: Yes, this week (and next) will see a wide range of reviews my dear patreons, requested – beyond the prioritized ones, mind you! The first two hit site today and more are to follow! (Namely: Villain Codex 3 + 4, We Be Leshy, Strange Stars.)
As always, I’d like to ask the patreons eligible for prioritized reviews to send me their requests as soon as possible. I am already at work on a couple of priority requests for the month, so expect to see a few of them hit site very soon.
Now, since that’s probably the question I hear most often: Yes, this month, I’ll start reviewing Starfinder-materials. While I can’t afford the hardcover right now (the patreon’s paying for electricity etc. – I’m not kidding when I’m saying that you fine folks keep the lights on!), I did receive the pdf as a generous gift, which means that analysis commences. As of right now, I don not plan on writing a review of the core game, at least not until I have the hardcover.
I will try to get at least a bit of playing experience with the final rules under my belt before releasing a review, though – so far, my experiences with the system are limited to the playtesting version. In short: SF reviews will start trickle in towards the end of the month.
Now, I do have a question for you, my dear readers: I will continue to post reviews of OSR, GUMSHOE, 5e, etc. books – but particularly if you’re NOT yet supporting my patreon…what would it take to change your mind?
What would it take for you to support me on patreon?
Do you want me to cover more DCC, for example? Want more OSR stuff? Should I tackle more GUMSHOE-books?
If so, please tell me!
I have quite a pile of them around here and while I want to cover them all eventually, I’m not sure which ones would be most interesting for you! What do you think?
