as some of you may have noticed, real life is kicking me around pretty hard, but I’m still drawing strength from my amazing time at Gencon – particularly those of you whom I had the pleasure to meet in person, I salute you and hope I’ll one day be able to return and talk more, play…and not just crazily run around like a wide-eyed, yet headless chicken.

So thank you.

I need to make this perfectly clear – you fine ladies and gentlemen are what keeps the lights on around here, which is more than I could ask for. The fact that I actually got to go to Gencon with this little service I provide…is amazing and humbling and I frankly have no idea how I deserved this.

I am not kidding when I’m saying that there is not a day that goes by without me being grateful to all of you.

You may have noticed this month having a it of a theme – I had fallen far, far behind on Purple Duck Games material and really wanted to catch up there and managed to be relatively successful in that regard. That being said, I didn’t meet some of the internal goals I had set for myself, but that does not mean the respective books have fallen by the wayside – far from it! Instead, there will be a certain focus you’ll be able to observe.

As always, I’d ask those of you eligible to prioritized reviews to post their requests as soon as possible! Beyond that, I will complete my Gencon-report this week and write a requested MM (Miscellaneous Musings) on the Top 5 types of Chocolate widely available in Germany at a patreon’s request. I have researched a possible, requested MM for Egyptian vampire lore in RL, but honestly, couldn’t find any truly suitable material there. So, if you have any suggestions, topics, points of interest…tell me. Are you currently looking forward to a particular book’s review? Tell me -even if you don’t have a prioritized review, your voice still matters!

In case you were wondering, btw.: I currently have no GUMSHOE-or 13th Age-reviewing material left on my to-do-pile, which is why you haven’t seen new reviews for these systems.
