As some of you may have noticed, I had different plans for January: I’ve lost 2 weeks to massive water damage in my apartment and the aftermath of that catastrophe, which wrecked my planned coverage of Starfinder-materials. A lot of the coverage of this month either was based on already finished tests and/or my unpublished backlog. Rest assured that there will be more Starfinder-material in February, now that I slowly start getting my bearing once more.

We all know that I suck at self-promotion and I try to not spam you with such request…

Right now, this whole reviewing gig takes up almost the equivalent on a proper dayjob in the time that I devote to it (Who am I kidding? More than that, I just don’t consider reading the books as work…just the testing, writing, etc.); the water damage has made me very cognizant of the fact that it, right now, amounts to a 0-sum game that does not allow me to accumulate any savings. While I am not wholly reliant on reviewing, my day-job doesn’t pay well either. I the long run, I’ll have to reevaluate how much time I can devote to reviewing if there is not an upswing in support. I absolutely believe that this is possible – the gaming community is absolutely awesome!
